MACCY BIOCHAR
Maccy Biochar makes biochar to draw down carbon and improve soils. It is a volunteer, not-for profit community group that is demonstrating a simple way in which many of us can help fight climate change while also improving soils. We are promoting the idea of keeping biochar production simple, local and carbon-negative! We encourage other community groups to take on the idea so that in time many small groups can form a biochar cooperative to help each other with marketing and selling biochar.
