About Us
Transition Town Kensington is a group of passionate local members of the Flemington-Kensington area wishing to localise food production, create circular economies, localise organic waste management, and otherwise reduce reliance on fossil fuels and on landfills. We have permaculture projects including the Kensington Food Forest and several large and small community gardens, communal street composting – Kensington Compost and the Kensington Compost Hub, Boomerang Bags, Kensington Repair Hub – currently a pop up at the monthly Kensington Market, and Herb Swaps.
