About Us

We are an organic group of enthusiastic sustainability advocates & practitioners living/working/studying in the Glen Eira City Council region of Melbourne, Australia.

At present, we are using Facebook as a connection platform and we are thrilled to now have a space on the Transitions Australia website.

The aim of the group is to connect and support transition groups focusing on sustainability, food security, equity and to spread the concepts of Permaculture & energy decent. We want to make it easier for individuals and community groups such as schools, and businesses to find each other, share resources, learn and be inspired.

We aim to hold a regular Sustainability Festival in the region.
