About Us
The Degrowth Network Australia is a place for those who want to, or are already, acting, organising and campaigning for a degrowth world.
We gather nationally (online) at 6.30pm on the second Wednesday of each month to learn from each other, share updates and discuss plans and projects. Email us for the zoom details.
We also have local groups in Melbourne, Sydney, Ballarat and Central Victoria. The group in Melbourne meets at 6pm on the first Wednesday of each month, and the Ballarat group meets in the evening of the third Wednesday of month. Email us for more details.
In a world marked by crises and inequality, we believe we need a lot more discussion, collective organising and action to critique the growth economy and demonstrate alternatives. Bringing people together using the concept of degrowth is key to help this to happen.
