About Us
Join CARYA 2023
The Climate Adaption Requires Youth Action (CARYA) is once again offering a FREE 8-week training course.
CARYA group training is a great opportunity for any young people who are concerned about the climate crisis and want to learn more about climate adaptation, as well as those who are seeking professional development opportunities or experience working in the community sector wanting to make positive change!
The training covers topics from biodiversity and renewable energy to gender equity and First Nations climate justice. We have a range of guest speakers with a wealth of knowledge from local organisations such as Women’s Climate Justice Collective, Ceres, Eco Justice Hub, Hume City Council, our own Good People Act Now project and more. CARYA is also involved in many events throughout the year including our own annual film night.
Watch HERE and HERE to learn more about the program and hear from past participants!
