Join Transition Town Vincent (TTV) at the Community Food Forest on Sunday 4th May between 3-5pm as we celebrate the WA Tree Festival with a briefing on the Black Cockatoo Pocket Forest Pilot Project and find out how you can get involved. Key highlights will be:

  • Briefing on the process leading up to planting day and how you can be involved.
  • Tour of the existing Community Food Forest and proposed Black Cockatoo Forest site.
  • Walking tour (300 metres) to check out some of the trees which we plan to grow.
  • Discussion on the making of compost, biochar and soil microbes which we are producing.
  • Forest in a box concept.
  • Find out how to get involved.

Please bring:

  • Walking shoes, hat and dress appropriate for the weather.
  • A small plate to share and drinks.
