About Us

Arjumand B. Khan (Environmental Scientist), Faiza Syed (Data Analyst) and Thasleem Banu (Accounting professional) strongly believe that a love for science in children is sparked when they take a closer look at the world around them and by fostering their natural curiosity. Our mission is to make science and technology more meaningful and enjoyable to children by helping them understand its relevance in their lives. They are currently doing this through Citizen Science and have engaged 100’s of families in Hume, that has greatly boosted interest and re-connection to nature.
We also aim to inspire young girls and migrant women in the community to take up STEM professions,thereby producing more STEM professionals and balancing out the crucial gender imbalance in the STEM industry.
