Have you heard about TSG?
Do you know what TSG is all about?
Are you missing the connection of a community in your area?
Are you struggling alone with your sustainability transition?
Do you love to learn and want to share what you have achieved on your journey?
Want to downsize your ecological footprint?
Do you want practical ways to think globally and act locally?
Join us for an informative afternoon where you will hear from the President of Transition Australia, Mary Stringer. She is one of the co authors of the TSG book.
Hear from members of Transition Streets in Geelong on how their group operates, what they have learnt, what they are getting out of their involvement with this kind of grass roots movement.
We will be setting up a book swap if you have any to bring along. All we ask is that you take yours back home if it is still there at the end.
We will also have a Food Swap of Seedlings / Fruit / Vegetables / Preserves etc.
We are all about sharing what we have an excess of.
There will be tea and coffee facilities as well as some light afternoon snacks.
Bring a few friends along that you think may be interested in what we are doing.
To get a better idea of what can be possible with an engaged group, watch this amazing Ted Talk. https://youtu.be/C1WSkXWSJac
