This free event is the first of its kind in Geelong. The festival will feature a range of speakers addressing topics such as sustainability and community connection.

At the festival you’ll also be able to:

* Learn new skills and get hands-on at a range of workshops
*Make an eco-switch by shopping in the environmentally-friendly market area
* Enjoy delicious plant-based vegetarian meals and snacks from local food trucks
* Explore living small with the on-site tiny house

Transition Streets is a grassroots initiative that focuses on connecting and supporting neighbourhoods around the issues of sustainability. Renters and owners alike are encouraged to link up with neighbours to make our homes and streets more energy efficient, less resource-dependent, more self-reliant with food, less wasteful, healthier and more enjoyable places to live.

This project is supported by the City of Greater Geelong through it’s Community Events program and major funding through a Pick My Project grant.
