Seeding transformation in the 2020’s

-- THIS EVENT HAS ALREADY OCCURED --

Friday 20th of March 2020 2:00 pm

We have experienced the unprecedented bushfires in our country for months. This latest manifestation of the climate crisis has affected us all on a very personal level. We have changed…our perspectives have changed. There is an increased awareness of the need for meaningful transformations in all aspects of our society.
We are an important part of these complex systems. We understand that structural change is needed, but how to facilitate it? Can a community come together and start moving Sydney and the country towards radically different futures?
We would like you to be part of a diverse group of people coming together to produce transformations. All are welcome in our first meetup to share experiences, learn from each other, and participate in the creation of this community.
We will be hosting a conversation between Dr. Cameron Tonkinwise, Dr. Chris Riedy and Dr. Lien Pham. They will be discussing the need for deep transformations, sharing promising theories of change, and talking about the importance of design, narratives and social justice in these processes. A series of participatory activities will be facilitated to discover the values and identity of the group, and an agenda will be set.
Then off for some post-event drinks!
