Free overlocker lesson for members

As we have new sewing machines and overlockers at Upcycle Newcastle, we’re offering free 2 hour lessons to our financial members to ensure that people are confident when using them and able to trouble-shoot problems, and that the machines are well looked after. These will be 2 hour classes for each (sewing machines and overlockers), limited to 5 participants in each group. Sewing machine lessons
Includes instruction on threading including using automatic needle threader; winding bobbins; changing needles, sewing feet, stitch length and width, sewing foot pressure; trouble shooting.
- Monday Jan 20, 2 – 4pm
- Wednesday Jan 22, 4.30 – 6.30pm
- Friday Jan 24, 1 – 3pm
Overlocker lessons
Includes instruction on threading; changing needles, stitch length, differential feed; trouble shooting.
- Monday Jan 27, 2 – 4pm
- Tuesday Jan 28, 4.30 – 6.30pm
