Conversation Cafe Online: Connection
-- THIS EVENT HAS ALREADY OCCURED --
Sunday 18th of May 2025 5:00 pm (AEST)
We know that the conversations we have guide our thinking, share our worries and support out actions, but we rarely leave time just to connect, listen and talk. The online conversation cafe aims to share, liberate widsom and promote action regardless of geography. We want to give people time to talk and connect about how we are, or how we could bring about an ecologically regenerative and socially just future.
This month we’re looking at connections; how we make them, how we maintain them and how we think about all of the people in our community who could be part of an interconnected future. Are there groups we feel comfortable connecting with? Are there groups we don’t? To help us with this conversation we will be joined by author, activist and farmer Linda Cockburn. Linda brings a great insight and lived experience about how local connections and reciprocity in community are key pillars for a transition to a better way. We are excited to open the lid on connection because as Rob Hopkins wrote
“If we wait for governments, it will be too late. If we act as individuals, it will be too little. But if we act as communities, it might just be enough, and it might just be in time.”
So join us for an online conversation about connection and the future.
