Bald Hills Creswick Landcare Group are doing a tour of Creswick Creek, looking at increasing biodiversity, reducing weeds and improving flood control: We will meet behind the Creswick Information Center at 9:30 on Saturday, the 1st of October. The Senior Citizens bus will be available. Brian Bainbridge will first take us to Creswick Creek near Ring Road, and show us the results of our earlier rehabilitation work there, and how it has increased the biodiversity. Then we will go to Kieran’s farm and look at his issues and solutions on his section of the creek. Next we will go to Clunes and their Landcare Group will show us what they have been achieving there, including increasing biodiversity, weed control and flood management.
