Transition in the Pub

TD in the Pub is a (mostly) monthly evening event where where folks can kick back, meet new people, and learn more about the world we live in and what we can do to change it. Anyone is welcome to come along whether you like drinking beer or not!

Each night has a focus topic for people to engage with, sometimes with a knowledgable speaker, panel, or even film, but always leaving room for lots of discussion amongst the crowd.

Some recent TD in the Pub nights were Retrosuburbia with Kat Lavers in May, Cooperatives 101 in June, and Plastic Free July, appropriately enough, in July.

The idea of this project is to get outside of the usual circles by having discussion around how we can work towards the world we want to live in in a public and more accessible place. Also, it’s just a fun social night!

If you have a topic, speaker, or evening event idea on environmental or related social issues that you would like to run as a part of the TD in the Pub series, please do get in touch. We can support you with the logistics of organsing the event and use TD’s platform to make sure people know about it!
